The Restless Wait

For Winter Term at Uni, I was supposed to create a S/S16 editorial as if collaborated with a UK based brand and magazine. I truly had fun doing it especially it involved photography, industry that I have been living in for the past five years. I am still far from professional, but it has been amazing to learn and develop this talent, also expanding it to the fashion photography. I thought it would be great to publicly share it and allow my viewers to see my work, or even comment on it.

Please enjoy and give some comments below! Have a great one ;)

Review & Swatches: MAC x Ellie Goulding

Since I was very excited of the collaboration, I thought I would do a short review and swatches of these beautiful lipsticks and powder blush.

As a neutral and nude make up person, I am super excited to try these out because it is MAC and it is the exact colour scheme I normally wear. They come in a range of eyeshadow palettes, lip glosses, lip pencils and several other products. However, I ended up getting my hands on both of the cremesheen lipsticks and powder blush.

I strongly adore the packaging. Glossy black and gold linings give the exclusive feel.

The Cremesheen Lipsticks

Left: Only You || Right: Without Your Love
Left: Only You || Right: Without Your Love
Only You
Without Your Love

The cremesheen finish of the lipsticks give a glossy moisturised effect on the lips. It gives the healthy looking shine with a very neutral colour. For me, it is a "my lips but better" colours. Only Love is more of a peachy pink colour, whereas Without Your Love is a very soft and sheer pink. I totally can see myself wearing both colours a lot this Spring! It is very Spring 2016 appropriate!

The Powder Blush

I'll Hold Your Breath || Medium Warm Bronzer (Satin Finish)  / Peachy Pink Pearl Blush (Matte Finish)
Left: Blush || Right: Bronzer

The blush is highly pigmented in comparison to the bronzer. The peachy tone colour is amazing for everyday especially for Spring. The bronzer is more of a buildable bronzer with a hint of sparkles, which I personally love. If you are looking for a natural bronzer here it is! It is not a matte finish, so I would not recommend this if you are aiming for the matte finish.

Peter Pilotto | London Fashion Weekend 2015

It was a great experience to attend the London Fashion Weekend 2015. This was my first time to join such event. Being able to see the collection live from Saatchi Gallery, it was amazing to be physically there to document and analyse the products at the same time. London, so far, has been very inspiring, both socially and environmentally. I could totally say that my fashion style has been changing ever since I moved. It is quite a shift, I personally noticed.

The Peter Pilotto Catwalk was inspired by the board games. It is very unique how Pilotto combined the ideas to bring it into textile patterns and textures. For this collection, the muted colours are collaborated with bright colours which create a balance in each piece. Orange, blue, yellow, green, and soft brown are the main colours of this collection.

Casual Afternoon

Happy Holiday dear readers! The long-awaited summer is finally here. I was excited yet worried about this summer. Why? It is because I am no longer a high school student now. Yes, I have just graduated from high school in May and currently waiting for some student visa documents. I will be leaving my hometown this September for roughly four years. I am incredibly excited about living abroad, but I hardly could imagine leaving my family, church members, and friends in Surabaya. I have been struggling on defeating those fears right now. However, I believe God will give me strength and that His plans never fail. :)

For summer holiday, I prefer comfy casual clothing for most days. Currently, I have been wearing this style most. T-shirt, shorts, and some plaids to be wrapped on the waist. Tadaaa, it seems that you put an extra miles on the outfit.

Top - New Look
Shorts - Bershka
Plaid Top - On The Rocks
Shoes - FaveChic
Necklace - Forever 21 (or H&M, I am not quite sure about this :p)

Hope you are having a great and safe summer holiday <3
