The Restless Wait

For Winter Term at Uni, I was supposed to create a S/S16 editorial as if collaborated with a UK based brand and magazine. I truly had fun doing it especially it involved photography, industry that I have been living in for the past five years. I am still far from professional, but it has been amazing to learn and develop this talent, also expanding it to the fashion photography. I thought it would be great to publicly share it and allow my viewers to see my work, or even comment on it.

Casual Afternoon

Happy Holiday dear readers! The long-awaited summer is finally here. I was excited yet worried about this summer. Why? It is because I am no longer a high school student now. Yes, I have just graduated from high school in May and currently waiting for some student visa documents. I will be leaving my hometown this September for roughly four years. I am incredibly excited about living abroad, but I hardly could imagine leaving my family, church members, and friends in Surabaya. I have been struggling on defeating those fears right now. However, I believe God will give me strength and that His plans never fail. :)

For summer holiday, I prefer comfy casual clothing for most days. Currently, I have been wearing this style most. T-shirt, shorts, and some plaids to be wrapped on the waist. Tadaaa, it seems that you put an extra miles on the outfit.

Cropped Army Jacket

Hi readers! Actually, I have been sick for a couple of days, so I have been resting at home these past few days. It was terrible! It started out with sore throat and flu, but suddenly I felt like getting fever. However, my body temperature remained on the normal range, and my whole body just ache. After the blood test, my doctor stated that I got this unknown virus which caused minor infection in my body which caused the ache. However, it was not a big deal as I will recover in few days with a lot of rest. Those days, I felt like having no energy to walk, to think, or even to talk. People around me have noticed how quiet I was. I, then, ended up spending my time mostly on social media, when I realized that I have enough photos to make this outfit a blogpost. If you follow my instagram, then you might have seen me posting this outfit awhile ago.

I have been obsessed with floral skirt and skort lately. I have few of them and all of them are in dark colors. In a blink, they are almost similar :p

Doubled Up

So how was your weekend guys? I believe most students out there are back to school by now :) How was your first day of school? Fun? Tired? For my school, the first day of school will be TOMORROW!! Yes, gotta set my alarm as much and loud as possible. Totally not ready yet, because I'm still wishing to wake up late. Well, you could say it better that I was having a pretty bad jet lag. My watch was still 6 hours behind Surabaya's. Just got my watch set right few days ago hahaha! Sort of excited for first day of senior year, but so not excited for homework :( I hope tomorrow will be fun, thou :)

Mon's Potatoes Escape

As promised in the previous post, I'm posting my trip to Singapore last June. On June 18-20, I went to Singapore with 9 of my best friends celebrating my friend, Monika, sweet 17th party. Instead of a party, she made it a trip to Singapore with her close friends. It was really fun 3 days. On the first day we went shopping and to her formal dinner celebration (as shown in the picture above).

The second day was actually my 17th birthday, yes on June 19th. On the same day, we had planned to go to Universal Studio Singapore, so yeah the birthday girl spent her day in USS :p It was really fun, and surprisingly my friends made a midnight surprise for me as shown in my instagram post. I'm very blessed to have such caring best friends.

On the last day, we spent every single minute we had to go shopping XD. Well, we actually ate the extra delicious Ippudo Ramen too :9 The funny story occurred in the airport. As we were travelling without guardian, and none of us is 18 yet, so we needed to wait for airport officer to guide us, the underaged children! haha!! However, it made us waited for 1.5 hours total, so yes it took up our time and left us with 5 minutes or less in the airport's duty free, or in another words, we had no time to shop in the airport :( It was sad, but yeah we all took it fun! Once again, thank you Monika for the amazingggg trip!!! <3
