Casual Afternoon

Happy Holiday dear readers! The long-awaited summer is finally here. I was excited yet worried about this summer. Why? It is because I am no longer a high school student now. Yes, I have just graduated from high school in May and currently waiting for some student visa documents. I will be leaving my hometown this September for roughly four years. I am incredibly excited about living abroad, but I hardly could imagine leaving my family, church members, and friends in Surabaya. I have been struggling on defeating those fears right now. However, I believe God will give me strength and that His plans never fail. :)

For summer holiday, I prefer comfy casual clothing for most days. Currently, I have been wearing this style most. T-shirt, shorts, and some plaids to be wrapped on the waist. Tadaaa, it seems that you put an extra miles on the outfit.

So how was your weekend guys? I believe most students out there are back to school by now :) How was your first day of school? Fun? Tired? For my school, the first day of school will be TOMORROW!! Yes, gotta set my alarm as much and loud as possible. Totally not ready yet, because I'm still wishing to wake up late. Well, you could say it better that I was having a pretty bad jet lag. My watch was still 6 hours behind Surabaya's. Just got my watch set right few days ago hahaha! Sort of excited for first day of senior year, but so not excited for homework :( I hope tomorrow will be fun, thou :)

Hellow fellow readers, summer break is finally here :) Right after spring exam ends, I went to Singapore with my best friends celebrating one of my best friend's sweet 17th birthday. Accidentally, the second day we spent in Singapore was my sweet 17th birthday. I got that midnight surprise from my besties as what you have seen in my instagram. Totally happy for it haha! Maybe I'll post the 3-days getaway to Singapore in my next post :)

After that trip, I actually went to Australia to get my pre-sweet 17th photoshoot done. I posted some of the teaser in my instagram as well :D It was done by Kansha Photography <3

Hello my dearest readers! Finally back and finished my editing for this post. Been procrastinating much, today I decided to catch up and finish up everything for this post. If you haven't noticed from my INSTAGRAM, I did cut my hair about 5 cm below my shoulder about a month ago. I was first scared that it won't suit me, but thanks to my hairdresser that she gave me some suggestions, and I think it turned out amazing. I really love it :D However, I took this outfit photos way before I cut my hair, so as you noticed my hair is still long here :)

Happy Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year, everyone <3

Today, I spent most of the day to visit relatives as a part of the Chinese New Year tradition. While visiting, I got a lot of red envelopes from married relatives and go served with tons of delicious foods & drinks. By the time I got to the third destination, I was totally full (x_x). However, today is such a fun day; celebrating the day with the people who you love and who love you. It's pretty rare to have such a complete family gathering throughout the year, so this particular moment is priceless. 

Anyway, I would like to apologise, again, for being away from my blog. If you follow my INSTAGRAM, then you might have noticed my post in which I stated that I just got technical problems with my MacBook. I finally brought it to the service centre because I couldn't access my Mac at all. At the end, the main problem was located in the HDD, so I got it replaced. Unfortunately, my previous hard disk couldn't be access through any method, so you can say that I lost all my data there. In addition, I haven't backed up any of the files :( It was a total heartbreak for me, because I have tons of my photographs and some pictures for my blog. This problem is such a "lesson-to-learn" thing for me to not procrastinate in backing up my files :(

POP THAT

This week is probably a busy week too. Tons of stuff to finish, so I mostly slept pretty late each night, which made my eyes sticked during classes. As a part of STUdent COuncil members (aka STUCO members), I even got busier at some point, especially this feel. Next Friday, my school, Surabaya International School, will hold a charity carnival. There would be games, foods, etc. All the money will be given to the Philippines typhoon's victims, through UNICEF. As you predict, we have a bunch of stuffs to prepare, so it adds up to my to-do-list for this week. However, it is actually fun to take a part in this kind of social events :)

Moving on, time flies too fast! I can't believe it's December already, as I feel like summer break had just ended last month. This means that Winter Exams are coming up very soon. I should study hard to achieve the best grade I could possibly get :D If you are having your Final Exams right now, GOOD LUCK! Study hard, stay honest, and don't forget to pray so that God will help you :) A prayer won't waste your time, instead it will lead you to the breakthrough and unexpected things to happen :)
