Review & Swatches: MAC x Ellie Goulding

Since I was very excited of the collaboration, I thought I would do a short review and swatches of these beautiful lipsticks and powder blush.

As a neutral and nude make up person, I am super excited to try these out because it is MAC and it is the exact colour scheme I normally wear. They come in a range of eyeshadow palettes, lip glosses, lip pencils and several other products. However, I ended up getting my hands on both of the cremesheen lipsticks and powder blush.

I strongly adore the packaging. Glossy black and gold linings give the exclusive feel.

The Cremesheen Lipsticks

Left: Only You || Right: Without Your Love
Left: Only You || Right: Without Your Love
Only You
Without Your Love

The cremesheen finish of the lipsticks give a glossy moisturised effect on the lips. It gives the healthy looking shine with a very neutral colour. For me, it is a "my lips but better" colours. Only Love is more of a peachy pink colour, whereas Without Your Love is a very soft and sheer pink. I totally can see myself wearing both colours a lot this Spring! It is very Spring 2016 appropriate!

The Powder Blush

I'll Hold Your Breath || Medium Warm Bronzer (Satin Finish)  / Peachy Pink Pearl Blush (Matte Finish)
Left: Blush || Right: Bronzer

The blush is highly pigmented in comparison to the bronzer. The peachy tone colour is amazing for everyday especially for Spring. The bronzer is more of a buildable bronzer with a hint of sparkles, which I personally love. If you are looking for a natural bronzer here it is! It is not a matte finish, so I would not recommend this if you are aiming for the matte finish.

Casual Afternoon

Happy Holiday dear readers! The long-awaited summer is finally here. I was excited yet worried about this summer. Why? It is because I am no longer a high school student now. Yes, I have just graduated from high school in May and currently waiting for some student visa documents. I will be leaving my hometown this September for roughly four years. I am incredibly excited about living abroad, but I hardly could imagine leaving my family, church members, and friends in Surabaya. I have been struggling on defeating those fears right now. However, I believe God will give me strength and that His plans never fail. :)

For summer holiday, I prefer comfy casual clothing for most days. Currently, I have been wearing this style most. T-shirt, shorts, and some plaids to be wrapped on the waist. Tadaaa, it seems that you put an extra miles on the outfit.

Shorts - Bershka
Plaid Top - On The Rocks

White Tribal

Hellow fellow readers, summer break is finally here :) Right after spring exam ends, I went to Singapore with my best friends celebrating one of my best friend's sweet 17th birthday. Accidentally, the second day we spent in Singapore was my sweet 17th birthday. I got that midnight surprise from my besties as what you have seen in my instagram. Totally happy for it haha! Maybe I'll post the 3-days getaway to Singapore in my next post :)

After that trip, I actually went to Australia to get my pre-sweet 17th photoshoot done. I posted some of the teaser in my instagram as well :D It was done by Kansha Photography <3

Dark Smile

Hello my dearest readers! Finally back and finished my editing for this post. Been procrastinating much, today I decided to catch up and finish up everything for this post. If you haven't noticed from my INSTAGRAM, I did cut my hair about 5 cm below my shoulder about a month ago. I was first scared that it won't suit me, but thanks to my hairdresser that she gave me some suggestions, and I think it turned out amazing. I really love it :D However, I took this outfit photos way before I cut my hair, so as you noticed my hair is still long here :)

Wacky Ducky

Hollaaa! I just got back from my trip to Singapore with my school, so I got to postponed my blogpost :( You might have notice all the pictures of my SEASAC ARTS 2014 trip in my Instagram. It was fun! SEASAC ARTS is basically an international art festival joined by a total of 13 international school in Asia. There we spent our time joining the workshop and discovering new art technique and experience. This year I took the 3D art in which I need to build a huge 3D sculpture out of bamboo and work as a group to finish it. It was such a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I could build such a huge building/sculpture in the basement parking lot of Tanglin Trust School in Singapore.

In addition, I did a crazy shopping in Singapore. I grabbed several tops and an oxford shoes that I've been craving for since my last visit to Singapore. Praise the Lord I didn't buy it last time, because it has a $80 discount <3 I'll try to post it anytime soon :p

I decided to buy this super cute duck cropped top from Seven December (IG). As it arrived, it came out to be as good as my expectation <3 Great quality and as cute as its picture in instagram :D
